A thought for Tashdon - what about adding a pale celadon colour to the existing red, cream and white. Thinking of painting the entrance hall and wall behind crockery in a beautiful clear but yet dusky green

I like that idea - you'd just have to be careful what shade of green you used, I think, so that the lovely grungy pottery didn't look grey in comparison. Think we're all into that pale green at the moment! I'm using it in my bedroom in a 40's/50's way.
